Dr. Curtis Connors, also known as The Lizard, is a character from Marvel Comics, debuting in The Amazing Spider-Man #6 (November 1963).
Connors is a gifted surgeon who lost his right arm in wartime. Obsessed with regeneration, he experimented on reptilian DNA, hoping to regrow his limb.
His experiments were initially successful, but the side effects were disastrous. Connors transformed into a monstrous, reptilian humanoid, driven by primal instincts. As The Lizard, he possesses superhuman strength, speed, and durability.
